Smallest most uncomfortable "suite" I've ever stayed in. There isn't even a chest of drawers to put cloths in because there's no room in this tiny space. Super noisy, the people above us sounded like elephants at 5am. Never staying here again.

We chose this hotel for members of our club traveling for a gymnastics competition. The biggest reason for our choice was the Veronica. From the first inquiry, to booking rooms, her service and attention to detail made things much easier. Thank you. The location was very convenient. The hotel was close to the competition venue, plus there is a grocery store, as well as stores and restaurants, across the street. Parking is a bit of hassle, but the underground access made things much simpler. Rooms were clean and well appointed. The size our King Studio suites was very much appreciated. Pool was not fancy or large, but our athletes enjoyed their time there. Breakfast was very good. A wide variety of options for everyone. I was also impressed with the way they accommodated teams with a larger number of athletes. It was very well thought out and did not impact others. The only problem I had was the due to other guests. The first night guests across the hall were very loud and well past midnight. I tried calling the front desk, but the phone in my room was not working properly. The following afternoon there were dogs barking in the room across from us and beside. The dogs obviously had been left alone in the rooms. Some people obviously need to be reminded of their responsibilities when traveling with a pet.

We are in Calgary every couple of months to see my sister's family. They have moved around so this was only the second time staying in the Seton area. A couple months earlier we stayed at the adjoining hotel (Courtyard) with no issues. This time how my folks were with us we decided to get a 2 bedroom suite at the Residence inn. They stayed there last time with no issues and loved it. I went to check in as everyone else grab the luggage and went to park. At first the man at the front counter was very nice and friendly. Then he asked for a vaccine passport which I did not have. His attitude changed towards me very fast. He just kept asking for it like it I was joking. I tried to nicely explain to him I didn't know I needed one to stay at this hotel. When I booked a month earlier there must have been no restrictions. He then continued to be rude about it. So I went and got my dad the only person in our room how was fully vaccinated. He then allowed my dad to check us all in. He then made it very clear that all 4 room keys would not work on the pool or anything else in the hotel and that my dad would have to suffer because of the rest of our decision. he made it very clear we were allowed to walk through the lobby wait for the elevator go to a room and exit the same. That is it!!! My dad was allowed to go great breakfast every morning but that was it. If you are going to have restrictions maybe you should call your our of province guests to let them know the rules. Honestly, we did not feel welcome the whole time from this hotel and we didn't want to sit in the lobby or go to the gym or pool. We were there for 6 days to see my sister's family. Thats it! From talking to my sister and checking government of Calgary's website (at the time) there was no mandate for hotels. On day 2 or 3 we started to notice signs were being put up about its the hotels choice to if they want unvaccinated guests and this hotel was asking for the passport or a PCR test. My lovely sister dropped off a welcome basket to be taken to the room hours before we arrived but they didn't bother. So we picked it up from the front desk. We went straight to our room, it was very nice a little tight and now many places for luggage but we made it work. There was a small kitchen but did have a fully fridge, oven, microwave, coffeemaker and all the dishes you will need as well as a table for 4. The kitchen could use more lighting. There is a small living room with tv but no desk (we asked this before booking how my spouse needed to work), one large bathroom at the entrance, 2 small but good enough size bedrooms one with an ensuite. Both rooms had tvs. One room had a closet so you could keep the luggage in it. But neither room had a dresser or real places to unpack. So the small room had to leave their suitcases in the living room. The room was very clean and the bathrooms had Paul Mitchell products. AC was not working. My dad went down every morning and got us all breakfast before going to my sisters for the day. It was good; nothing special but a nice touch. How Marriott hotels are the only ones in the general area at the moment we have no choice to stay with them until others are built but we will go back to staying at the courtyard how we had no issues there.

We stayed here for 3 nights in August while visiting family in nearby Auburn Bay. The location is perfect… walking distance to all amenities (grocery, restaurants, drug store, etc.). It’s one of the few hotels that has 2 bedroom suites, which is fantastic for travelling with kids. The suite had a king size bed in one room, a queen sized bed in another with an ensuite bathroom, and a surprisingly comfortable pull out couch in the living room. The second (main) bathroom was huge. There were 3 televisions and a small kitchenette, although it was *very* basically equipped and we didn’t do any cooking. If you truly want to cook, an Airbnb is probably a better choice. The pool and water slide were fantastic…our kids loved them. The room was *extremely* clean and quiet, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was decent for this type of hotel. Overall we had a great stay.

We and our relatives from SK stayed for a day, the hotel is very clean and "wow" the staff are all smiles, excellent services and special thank you to Leilani, Jeck and Regine, for they are awesome and very friendly. The complimentary breakfast is great. We all felt safe and relax during our stay. The location is nice and accessible to lots of stores and restaurants. We will surely comeback and we will recommend this hotel to our family and friends 100% highly recommended! "Feels like Family"
